Interim Housing

We both directly as well as partner with other community organizations to provide safe interim housing for approximately 2000+ individuals experiencing homelessness on any given night as we work towards permanent housing as a goal .

Safe Parking

Using County, City, and HOPICS owned spaces we provide vehicle dwellers case management, support, and a safe place to park and sleep at night as we work them to find a permanent housing solution that fit their needs.

Enhanced Bridge Housing
Specialty sites: transgendered women & older adults

HOPICS’ provides Enhanced Bridge Housing for specific populations. We directly operate the first publicly funded bridge housing specifically for those that identify as transgender women at our Casa Del Zulma facility in partnership with our sister Special Services for Groups division APAIT. We partner with SSG Silver (also a Special Services for Groups sister division) to operate the Silver Villa Enhanced Bridge Housing Specifically for older adults. A population that has very specific needs.

Crisis Bridge Housing
Single Adults & Families

Crisis Bridge Housing assists single adults or families with minor children who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless with a network of subcontracted and directly operated share living facilities. Crisis Housing provides clients with stability as they are quickly assessed and connected to more safe and supportive housing resources.

Project HomeKey

Building on the success of Project Roomkey, HomeKey continues a statewide effort to sustain and rapidly expand housing for persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, and who are thereby, inherently impacted by COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.HomeKey is an opportunity for state, regional, and local public entities to develop a broad range of housing types, including but not limited to hotels, motels, hostels, single- family homes and multifamily apartments, adult residential facilities, and manufactured housing to commercial properties and other existing buildings to permanent or interim housing for the targeted populations. HOPICS operates the only Project HomeKey site in the state of California that houses families minor children.

A Bridge Housing

Funded firstly by the City of Los Angeles, Bridge Housing provides a safe, low-barrier, Housing First, Housing-Focused, and supportive twenty-four (24) hour residence to persons experiencing homelessness, while they are working on locating, applying to, and obtaining their permanent housing.

HOPICS operates the only A Bridge Home expressly meant for families with minor children.  As well as the A Bridge Home on Council District 8 of the city of Los Angeles.
